Summary
The InfoGraphics Lab is assisting ODOT with a mapping project to assess perceived freight traffic problems on the state's road network. The lab is researching a methodology for geocoding and developing map products based on problem types and locations, from data collected for an ODOT-sponsored survey in 2001-02. This will allow ODOT's Planning section to compare motor carrier responses with their own internal data to better prioritize traffic engineering and maintenance projects.
