Spatial Analysis

Location – Location – Location. Nearly all data is spatial! Putting data in geographic context provides enhanced meaning. Our staff and students work collaboratively to provide a variety of spatial analysis services, such as:

  • Geocoding existing data
  • Integrating GPS data
  • Spatial overlay to explore relationships and patterns
  • Network analysis
  • Spatial database design
  • Consulting for research proposal development

Administrative – we work closely with campus administrative units
Where does our diversity come from? Examining the geographic origins of our student body to better understand from where we attract diverse population. Explore Elements of Diversity in the UO College of Arts and Sciences.

Where are we building? Analyzing decades of building permit to better understand the future student housing needs of UO students. With Housing.
