UOregon is the official iPhone and Android app of the University of Oregon.
Drawing directly from our campus GIS, the UOregon app routes you around campus, locates any room, helps you find classes, activities, events and other items of interest. New in Version 2, users can search library books and map them to the exact shelf or take custom tours around campus.
The InfoGraphics Lab has developed these apps for mobile devices using Esri’s Runtime SDKs . The seeds for the apps were sown from a collaboration between our Lab, faculty, and student researchers in the PPPM and ENVS department, and a grant from NITC.
The UOregon application received the 2011 Special Achievement in GIS Award from for its innovations in mobile mapping technology.
